Conduct literature reviews and desk research on development, policy, and social issues
Assist in designing and implementing research projects and fieldwork
Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis using appropriate methodologies
Support the preparation of research reports, policy briefs, and publications
Assist in policy analysis and advocacy initiatives aligned with organizational priorities
Educational Qualifications:
Master's degree in any discipline, preferably Public Policy, Economics, Sociology, Political Science, Development Studies, Public Administration, Social Work, or related fields.
Research Experience:
Prior experience in research projects, internships, or assistantships
Master's dissertation or thesis with primary or secondary data work
Published research papers, book chapters, articles, or working papers (preferred)
Technical and Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Experience with qualitative methods (FGDs, KIIs, survey) and/or quantitative methods (survey design, sampling, statistical analysis)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and data analysis tools
Other Requirements:
Willingness to travel for fieldwork when required
Ability to manage research projects independently and collaboratively
Strong organizational and time management skills
Commitment to quality research and evidence-based advocacy
