Job Description

The Research Analyst will be an integral part of our content team, responsible for conducting in-depth research for the creation of high-quality, accurate and engaging content for our various platforms (print publications, online articles, reports, social media, etc.). The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the textile industry, excellent research and analytical skills, and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear and concise narratives.

Key Responsibilities:



Conduct comprehensive research:



o Identify and gather information from a variety of sources, including industry reports, academic journals, market data, Internet, trade associations, government publications and interviews with experts focusing on topics relevant to the textile industry.

o Company profiles and competitive analysis.

Analyze and synthesize data:



o Critically evaluate research findings for accuracy, relevance and credibility.

o Organize and interpret complex data sets, identifying key trends, insights and opportunities.

o Prepare concise summaries, reports and presentations of research findings.

Create Content:



o Collaborate closely with editors and designers to create content for articles, features, reports and other content formats.

o Fact-check content for accuracy and provide supporting evidence.

o Contribute ideas for new content topics based on research findings.

o Assist in developing data visualizations (charts, graphs) to accompany content.

Others:



o Organize and maintain a well-structured research library and database of sources.

o Identify and recommend new research tools, subscriptions and resources.

o Continuously monitor industry news, publications and events to stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the textile sector.

o Undertake specific research tasks and contribute to special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Fashion Technology, Journalism, Communications or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

1-5 years of experience in a research-oriented content writing role, preferably within the textile industry, publishing or market research.

Preferred Skills:



Strong understanding of the textile industry, including its various segments of textiles), manufacturing processes, supply chain and market dynamics.

Experience in conducting thorough and accurate research using various methodologies.

Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in using research tools and databases.

Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Canva, AI Tools).

Networking ability within the textile industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?360,000.00 - ?540,000.00 per year
