Research Analyst - Credit Analysis - Credit Ratings - 1+ Years - Gurgaon/Mumbai/Pune
Location - Mumbai / Pune / Gurgaon
Summary - An exciting opportunity to join a leading global analytics and research organization, supporting international banks in counterparty credit risk assessment of funds and asset managers. The role involves preparing high-quality credit risk reports, developing financial models, and providing critical insights to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities -

• Support credit risk management teams in counterparty credit risk assessment of funds and asset managers.
• Prepare detailed credit risk assessment reports and update financial models/spreads using market databases and company filings.
• Assign credit ratings using proprietary frameworks and apply subjective adjustments when necessary.
• Defend credit views confidently to senior stakeholders and clients.
• Monitor market events and assess their impact on coverage portfolios.
• Support project managers on ad-hoc assignments.
• Conduct industry and country research; maintain databases on companies and sectors.
• Mentor and train colleagues on specific aspects of credit risk.

Requirements -

• 3 to 6 years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or fund analysis.
• Qualification: CA / MBA Finance / CFA or equivalent postgraduate degree.
• Strong expertise in fund management, risk management, and credit analysis.
• Proficiency in financial modelling, spreads, and report writing.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
