Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated TGT Social Science Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social science subjects and be committed to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance educational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards.

• Teach subjects including history, geography, political science, and economics to students in grades [specific grades].

• Use a variety of instructional techniques and materials to engage students in the learning process.

• Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and projects.

• Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary lessons and school-wide initiatives.

• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding academic progress and behavioral issues.

• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational practices.

• Supervise students during school activities and provide support for their social and emotional well-being.

• Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field; a degree in Social Science preferred.

• B.Ed. degree or equivalent teaching certification.

• Previous teaching experience, preferably in a similar role.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in using technology for teaching and learning.
