Responsibilities
Teach Computer Science / Information Technology to students of Grades VI?X as per the CBSE curriculum
Plan, prepare and deliver lessons including theory and practical sessions (use of computer lab)
Create assignments, projects, tests and quizzes to assess students' understanding and progress
Help students build foundational skills in MS Office, operating systems, basic programming (Python / HTML / Scratch etc.), internet usage, digital safety, etc.
Maintain discipline, safety, and proper use of lab equipment in the computer lab
Monitor student performance, provide remedial support to weak students and encourage advanced students
Maintain records of attendance, marks, project work and lab safety
Participate in parent?teacher meetings, academic meetings, co?curricular activities as required
Keep up to date with new technologies, educational software and computer lab tools, integrate them into teaching
Qualifications & Skills
Graduate or Postgraduate in Computer Science / Information Technology / relevant field (B.Sc / BCA / B.Tech etc.)
B.Ed / equivalent teaching qualification preferred
1?3 years of teaching experience in computer subject / labs, preferably in CBSE school
Good knowledge of programming basics, computer applications, lab setup and hardware?software fundamentals
Strong communication skills in English; ability to explain technical concepts clearly
Good classroom management, discipline and punctuality
