Job Title:

System Administrator - Digital Asset Management (DAM)/ Content Management System

(CMS)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled System Administrator to manage and maintain our Digital Asset

Management (DAM) system or Asset Repository System. The ideal candidate will ensure

smooth operations, handle metadata management, folder creation activities, system updates,

technical configurations, and provide technical support. Proficiency in SQL queries and the

ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Metadata Management:

o Define, update, and maintain metadata standards.

o Ensure consistency and accuracy of metadata across all assets.

o Provide the Tagging for the Folder and Files in the DAM

2. System Administration:

o Oversee system updates, patches, and maintenance tasks.

o Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls.

o Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues.

3. Folder and Asset Organisation:

o Set up and manage folder hierarchies and structures.

o Organise and manage digital assets for easy accessibility.

4. Integration and API Support:

o Ensure proper integration of the DAM system with other enterprise

applications.

o Work with Vendors for API configurations to enhance system functionality.

5. Technical Support:

o Take calls with the DAM vendor and provide the technical support.

o Provide end-user training and ongoing technical support.

o Resolve issues promptly and document solutions for future reference.

6. SQL Query Management:

o Write, optimise, and maintain SQL queries to support reporting and data

extraction needs.

7. Process Optimisation:

o Monitor DAM workflows and suggest improvements for efficiency.

o Regularly review and optimise system configurations.

o Digital Assets such as: 3D Designs, Engineering Drawings and Graphic Files.

o Experience working with Europe and US Clients

Qualifications and Skills:

? Education:

o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related

field.

? Technical Skills:

o Experience in DAM systems administration (preferably with Asset Repository

System).

o Proficient in SQL queries and database management.

o Familiarity with APIs and system integration practices.

o Basic understanding of network configurations and IT infrastructure.

? Soft Skills:

o Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

o Excellent communication and documentation skills.

o Ability to train and support non-technical users.

? Experience:

o Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in system administration or a similar role.

o Prior experience with digital asset management software is highly preferred.
