Job Summary:
The Primary Teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. The role involves planning and delivering age-appropriate educational activities, fostering social and emotional development, and building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilitie:
Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with educational standards and caters to the developmental needs of young children.
Plan and prepare daily lesson plans, activities, and learning materials that are engaging and educational.
Classroom Management:
Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
Manage classroom behavior and ensure that students follow classroom rules and routines.
Address individual needs and adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
Child Development and Support:
Observe and assess each child's developmental progress and learning needs.
Provide individual and group support to encourage social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere where children feel valued and encouraged.
Communication and Collaboration:
Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding their childs progress, behavior, and any concerns.
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.
