Qualifications & Experience (as per AICTE Norms)



Educational Requirements :



Master's Degree (MCA/M.Tech in relevant discipline) with

First Class


OR



Ph.D.

in the relevant discipline with an excellent academic record.

Experience Criteria :



Assistant Professor:

Minimum

5 years

of relevant teaching/industry/research experience.

Associate Professor:

Minimum

5 years

of experience, including significant post-Ph.D. academic contributions.

Professor:

Minimum

10 years

of experience, with at least

5 years

in the role of Associate Professor.

Roles & Responsibilities :



Teaching & Academic Delivery



Deliver high-quality lectures for MCA programs in line with AICTE and University curriculum. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and digital learning resources. Conduct practical sessions, laboratory classes, and hands-on training. Evaluate students' performance through assignments, tests, and examinations. Mentor students academically and support them in career planning.

Curriculum Development



Contribute to curriculum revision, academic planning, and enhancement of teaching methodologies. Introduce new-age topics such as AI, ML, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Data Science, etc., based on expertise. Participate in departmental academic committees to improve course design.

Research & Publications



Engage in high-quality research activities and publish papers in reputed journals. Guide student research projects, internships, and mini-projects. Apply for funded research projects and contribute to institutional research goals.

Student Development



Organize workshops, seminars, hackathons, coding contests, and technical events. Guide students for placements, certifications, and advanced technology skill-building. Support student clubs, technical forums, and extracurricular development initiatives.

Institutional Responsibilities



Participate actively in departmental and institutional committees. Support accreditation and quality assurance processes (NAAC, NBA, internal audits). Assist in admissions, counselling, and outreach programs. Maintain discipline, academic decorum, and a student-friendly learning environment.

Professional Development



Stay updated with emerging technologies, academic trends, and industry requirements. Participate in FDPs, conferences, and faculty training programs. Contribute to institutional growth through innovation and academic leadership.
