IBDP Economics Teacher - Sarjapur, Bangalore
Location: Sarjapur, Bangalore (International/IB school)
Salary: ?100,000-?110,000 per month
Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high?quality IBDP Economics lessons aligned with IB standards

• Guide students through Internal Assessments (IAs) & Extended Essays (EEs)

• Prepare students for IB exams, using a variety of assessment methods

• Foster inquiry-based discussions on economic theories and real-world issues

• Integrate educational technology and multimedia tools

• Differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs

• Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects and curriculum development

• Mentor students, engage with parents, and participate in PD and school events

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics (Master's preferred)

• Minimum 3 years teaching experience in IBDP Economics within an IB school

• Deep understanding of IB curriculum, assessment criteria, and DP philosophy

• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills

• Student?centered, inquiry?driven pedagogy

• Comfortable with technology?enhanced teaching
