Job Description

:

  • Oversee the full lifecycle management of industrial equipment, including procurement, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and decommissioning.
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime and reduce unplanned failures.
  • Lead a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors, providing guidance, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities.
  • Monitor equipment performance using KPIs such as Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to ensure timely acquisition of spare parts and equipment upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (including OSHA, ISO 9001/14001, and local statutory requirements).
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on major equipment failures and lead corrective action initiatives.
  • Maintain and update the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) with accurate records, work orders, and maintenance schedules.
  • Collaborate with production teams to align maintenance activities with production schedules and minimize operational disruptions.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on equipment health, maintenance costs, and performance trends to senior management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is a plus.
  • 5-10 years of progressive experience in equipment management, maintenance supervision, or operations within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale industrial equipment in a high-volume production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of CMMS platforms (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, or similar) and data-driven maintenance planning tools.
  • Certified in Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools for reporting and performance tracking.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
