Oversee the full lifecycle management of industrial equipment, including procurement, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and decommissioning.
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime and reduce unplanned failures.
Lead a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors, providing guidance, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities.
Monitor equipment performance using KPIs such as Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to ensure timely acquisition of spare parts and equipment upgrades.
Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (including OSHA, ISO 9001/14001, and local statutory requirements).
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on major equipment failures and lead corrective action initiatives.
Maintain and update the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) with accurate records, work orders, and maintenance schedules.
Collaborate with production teams to align maintenance activities with production schedules and minimize operational disruptions.
Prepare and present regular reports on equipment health, maintenance costs, and performance trends to senior management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is a plus.
5-10 years of progressive experience in equipment management, maintenance supervision, or operations within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Proven experience managing large-scale industrial equipment in a high-volume production environment.
Strong knowledge of CMMS platforms (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, or similar) and data-driven maintenance planning tools.
Certified in Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is highly desirable.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools for reporting and performance tracking.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
