Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineering professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international safety, environmental, and quality standards (including ISO, OSHA, and relevant statutory regulations).
Manage engineering project lifecycles from concept to commissioning, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and technical excellence.
Drive process optimization initiatives to improve equipment reliability, reduce operational costs, and enhance production throughput.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, procurement, and R&D to align engineering solutions with business objectives.
Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
Prepare and review technical documentation, specifications, drawings, and performance reports.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to equipment efficiency, downtime, and project delivery.
Represent the engineering function in strategic planning sessions and executive reviews.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering (or equivalent field).
5-10 years of progressive experience in engineering management, preferably within manufacturing, process industries, or heavy industrial environments.
Proven track record of leading engineering teams and managing complex projects from inception to completion.
In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong understanding of industrial safety standards, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance in industrial settings.
Proficiency in CAD software, MS Project, SAP, or similar engineering and project management tools.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in managing capital projects, vendor coordination, and procurement processes is highly desirable.
