You will be supported by professionals from our Global Business Services (GBS) teams, who are responsible for the execution of our end-to-end transactional processes. The role interacts with colleagues across European, Asian, and North American territories. Therefore, flexibility is required as the role will often require calls outside of normal working hours.



HR Reporting Analyst

This role has been created to evolve and scale the data insights People Analytics offers the TCS enterprise. This role is a highly visible and integral role within HR and will work very closely with stakeholders across the organisation with regular exposure to senior leadership. This role requires a strong analytical background, the ability to formulate compelling insights, a curious mindset, and the confidence to interact, challenge and influence at all levels.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide action-inducing insights.

  • Deliver consumer-grade reporting and insights that are relevant, targeted and enable key strategic business decisions.
  • Optimize and mature the existing insights offering and create thought provoking visualizations that answer key business challenges.
  • Own the end-to-end process - from data collection and manipulation through to visualization and insight storytelling.
  • Develop and embed workforce metrics to track business delivery against strategic objectives.
  • Drive enhancements in strategic workforce planning (at an enterprise level).
  • Work in collaboration with the global HR team to ensure "one version of the truth".
  • Provide thought leadership across the wider data, analytics, and insights community. Drive automation and innovation
  • Lead on innovation that builds on our current assets and capabilities and creates new insights and value for TCS HR.
  • Drive insight efficiencies through automation, data quality improvement, dashboard alignment and/or other potential improvement initiatives.
  • Automate and optimize existing extract, transform and load (ETL) processes. Partnering with enterprise technology as required.
  • Manage the infrastructure required for optimal connection of data from disparate data sources.
  • Leverage statistical approaches to analyze data and deliver predictive/prescriptive insights. Drive a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Support a self-service model that empowers the workforce and creates better employee experiences.
  • Leverage external best practice to shape best in class insights.
  • Advance the data maturity of the business from descriptive analytics to value add, prescriptive/predictive insights.
  • Evolve the core skills and capabilities of the HR workforce, enabling HR to create compelling employee experiences and value propositions through improved data and insights.
  • Embed a culture of empowerment by designing and delivering self-service dashboards that are relevant and enable business decision-making.
Given the HR Reporting Analyst will be a visible and direct point of contact to the business - the ability to partner senior leaders, connect insights to strategic priorities, develop consumer grade output, and tell a meaningful story with action-driving insights is essential.

Qualifications

Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to synthesize large volumes of data and extract insights to drive decisions.
  • Ability to \'tell the story\'of the data - translating data into insight and recommendations.
  • Presenting data to senior managers in an easily understood format.
  • Deep experience and utilization of data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
  • Strong data automation and transformation skills. Leveraging leading tools/technologies to optimize data integration, preparation, and modelling - examples include SQL, R, Python, RPA, Alteryx, OTBI.
  • Experience with Workday, or other HCM solutions.
  • Understanding of cloud architecture such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Appreciation of statistical methodologies. Professional certifications in any area within analytics is desirable
