About the Role

The Reporting Solutions Analyst is positioned to play a key role in the Financial Operations org to help support the adoption and rollout of MicroStrategy. In support of the Reporting Solutions Lead, the Reporting Solutions Analyst will be responsible for creating MicroStrategy Reporting Solutions that support our client\'s needs and drive key business decisions. The Reporting Solutions Analyst will leverage knowledge of the WAND DataMart and MicroStrategy, to design optimal solutions for internal stakeholders. The Reporting Solutions Analyst must have strong critical thinking, data analysis skills and an interest in problem solving.

What You Will Do

• Work with internal and stakeholders to deliver on-target, value-added solutions to complex and strategic challenges

• Develop Reporting Solutions using MicroStrategy by performing the role of Designer
• Develop insightful and interactive data analytic products including reports, documents, and dashboards
• Conduct data validation and testing to ensure accurate results
• Act as a consultative partner to internal teams on reporting best practices. This includes providing key support on client implementations and expansions.
• Provide ongoing support to internal stakeholders through troubleshooting and critical thinking to improve upon existing report design

• Work independently in detail-oriented environment

What You Will Need

• 2+ years\' work experience in reporting focused role, finance background a plus
• Analytical thinker with an ability and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proven track record of being both proactive & efficiency-minded
• Commitment to internal customer service
• Proven ability to deliver complex analysis, reconciliations, and reports
• Advanced Excel skills (including expert knowledge in using lookup tables, pivot tables, if statements, etc.) and or SQL skills
• Familiarity with Relational databases
• Experience with data integration from multiple sources
• Experience with business intelligence reporting tools a such as MicroStrategy a plus
• Familiarity with WAND reporting a plus
