Roles and Responsibilities:

Following support in providing the repair solutions for "Aero engine":

• Creation/update/Review of Repair procedure
• In-Service Issue Analysis
• Failure/ Non-conformance Investigation
• Repair graphics creation
• Repair substantiation writing
• To interact with customer to understand the requirements.
• Good Communication and interpersonal skills

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

In-depth understanding of gas turbine fundamentals.

• In-depth knowledge of gas turbine engines, its associated components and their function during operation.
• In-depth knowledge of working of various engine systems e.g. oil, fuel, air, bleed etc.
• In-depth knowledge of various failure/ deterioration mechanisms leading to component/ system failures or distress
• In-depth knowledge of troubleshooting of failures
• Knowledge of purpose and functioning of different LRUs in engine operation
• Hands-on experience in maintenance, repair/service of aero engines
• In-depth knowledge of various inspection methods including Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques.
• Knowledge of various types of repairs which can be applied to aero engine components

Desired Skills:

• Masters/BE in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering

• More than 10 plus Years of Hands-on experience in maintenance, repair/service of aero engines

• Aerospace & Defense or related organization on Repair Engineering Support activities
• Knowledge of aero engine manufacturing process would be an added advantage
• In-depth knowledge of gas turbine engines, its associated components and their function during operation.
• Good Communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent writing and speaking skills in English Languages
• Proactive approach and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build and develop Customer & Supplier relationships
• Open Minded and logical thinking
• Can Do and Can Get it Done Attitude
