To support our growing operations, we are looking for a Repair and Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance operations and ensure optimal performance of our fleet.
Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the repair and maintenance of our extensive fleet. This role requires a seasoned professional with leadership qualities, a problem-solving mindset, and the
ability to establish and manage a fully functional workshop
.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the repair and maintenance of a fleet of 120+ vehicles.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure fleet reliability and reduce downtime.
Establish and maintain a fully equipped and efficient workshop at Hazira, Surat.
Lead and manage a team of technicians and support staff, ensuring high productivity and quality standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and operational issues.
Monitor inventory levels and manage procurement of tools, spare parts, and equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, expenses, and performance metrics.
Provide training and skill development programs for workshop staff.
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of experience in managing repair and maintenance operations, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
Proven leadership abilities with a track record of managing teams effectively.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Experience in setting up and managing workshops.
Excellent knowledge of fleet maintenance practices, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
