The Citi HR Technology Team is building a next generation solution to solve the evolving Business, Analytical and Regulatory needs of Citi\xe2\x80\x99s HR Data Office. This effort will bring together disparate data sources and enable industry- leading analytics, client reporting, regulatory, surveillance, supervisory reporting(s) and data science solutions.

Responsibilities:

• A lot of emphasis would be on Data Modelling, Data Systems architecture, hands on experience in ETL/ELT systems, establishing and maintaining system policy, procedure, and review/revision requirements, and optimization.
• Resource will be guiding in creation of data dictionary, data catalog, metadata hubs.
• Resource will be responsible for data warehouse and data design efforts, subject matter development, including reference architectures, data controls in support of governance guidelines, data standards and best practices.
• Management of the ingestion and dissemination flows and technologies for the data warehouse and other systems supporting or requiring enterprise conformity.
• Responsible for the enhancement of HR enterprise Data Warehouse, Data Lake, BI and analytics information design and ensuring that views and structures leveraged for reporting is optimal, accurate, efficient, and secure.
• Participate in the management of data at the enterprise level and support the data governance program and reviews.
• Establish and evolve data standards and processes to support the company\'s needs, and criteria for assessing and bringing new data technologies.
• Collaborate closely with the application owners, data stewards, and the technology, risk, and business members of data governance council to ensure alignment of the data warehouse and master data management strategy.
• Establish and own the custodianship and conformance to the enterprise data dictionary, associated glossary, and data model for the data warehouse.
• Maintain and foster a collaborative relationship with business line and data consumers throughout the enterprise.
• Collaborate with audit and governance teams to ensure that work meets internal and external inspection and audit requirements.
• Lead efforts for developing/enhancing business data requirements, related functional requirements, testing and quality determinations and data profiling and mapping efforts.
• Assure compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in Data modelling with various Data Management architectures like Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Data Hub and the supporting processes like Data Integration, Governance, Metadata Management. Should be expert in at least one data modelling tools like Magic Draw, Erwin etc.
• Experience in creating Data Catalogs, Data Dictionaries is a must.
• Strong experience in working with large, heterogeneous datasets in building and optimizing data pipelines, pipeline architectures and integrated datasets using traditional data integration technologies. These should include ETL/ELT, data replication/CDC, message-oriented data movement, API design and access and upcoming data ingestion and integration technologies such as stream data integration and data virtualization.
• Must have experience in cloud environment architecture like Snowflake, Spark, Databricks, Hive, AWS etc.
• Knowledge and basic skills with analytics and BI platforms (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, SSAS).
• Strong experience in working with both open-source and commercial message queuing technologies such as Kafka, Spark
• Basic experience in working with data governance/data quality and data security teams and specifically information stewards and privacy and security officers in moving data pipelines into production with appropriate data quality, governance and security standards and certification. Ability to build quick prototypes and to translate prototypes into data products and services in a diverse ecosystem \xe2\x80\x93
• Demonstrated success in working with large, heterogeneous datasets to extract business value using popular data preparation tools to reduce or even automate parts of the tedious data preparation tasks.
• Strong experience with popular database programming languages including SQL, PL/SQL, others for relational databases.
• Strong ability to design, build and manage data pipelines for data structures encompassing data transformation, data models, schemas, metadata and workload management.
• Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of management.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.

Education:

• Master\'s or advanced degrees is preferred. Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or similar Data domain discipline.
• 12+ years of experience in data management disciplines including data warehousing, data integration, modeling, optimization, and data quality, and/or other areas directly relevant to data engineering responsibilities and tasks.
