REMOTE Sales Development Representative (SDR)


Location: Fully Remote ( Must Work U.S. Central Time Zone Hours)


Employment Type: Full-Time



Matador Lending & Matador Realty Group, a leading real estate finance company in Houston, Texas, USA is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in generating new business opportunities for our commercial real estate lending services, with a particular emphasis on engaging owners looking to refinance or purchase new properties

Key Responsibilities:



1. Lead Generation and Qualification:



Proactively identify and source potential leads through cold calling, LinkedIn, industry events, and other networking opportunities. Qualify leads by gauging interest in our lending services and ensuring alignment with our product offerings.

2. Outreach and Engagement:



Execute targeted outreach strategies using a mix of phone calls, emails, and social media to engage and nurture potential clients. Note that this role will have a minimum of 100-200 outbound calls per day required through our dialing software. Deliver a strong value proposition, addressing the specific needs and challenges of commercial real estate owners.

3. CRM Management:



Diligently maintain and update our CRM system to track interactions, feedback, and the progression of leads through the sales pipeline. Ensure accurate and timely recording of all engagement activities.

4. Market Research:



Continuously gather insights about the commercial real estate market, identifying trends and potential challenges for clients. Share insights with the broader sales and marketing teams to refine our messaging and product offerings.

5. Collaborate with Sales Team:



Provide regular feedback and insights to the sales team, helping refine engagement strategies. Transfer qualified leads to account executives, ensuring a seamless transition and maintaining strong relationships with potential clients.

6. Meet and Exceed Targets:



Consistently achieve or surpass weekly and monthly quotas of qualified opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. Prior experience in sales or business development, preferably within the real estate or finance sector. Willingness to make multiple cold calls daily Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office Suite. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve sales targets and contribute to the team's success. Understanding of commercial real estate finance is a plus.
