Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ELV Design Engineer to work remotely and support the planning, design, and coordination of extra low voltage systems for residential, commercial, or industrial projects. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of ELV systems, international standards, and proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop ELV systems including: CCTV and surveillance systems
Access control systems
Fire alarm and detection systems
Public address and voice alarm systems (PA/VA)
Structured cabling and data networks
Building management systems (BMS)
Intercom and IPTV systems

Prepare system layout drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, and riser diagrams. Generate detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities), specifications, and technical submittals. Coordinate designs with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders. Review client requirements and ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and project specifications (e.g., NFPA, BS, IEC). Provide technical support during installation and commissioning (via calls or video). Participate in virtual meetings, design reviews, and progress updates. Stay up-to-date with new ELV technologies and design methodologies.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications Engineering (or equivalent). Minimum 8-10 years of experience in ELV system design. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and ELV design tools. Familiarity with international codes (e.g., NFPA, NEC, BS EN, etc.). Experience with remote collaboration tools (e.g., MS Teams, Zoom, Asana, etc.). Strong communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
