Remote Desktop Support Engineer

Graduate/ Degree in Computer and Electronics

Experience:

2+ years of experience

Mandatory

Skills: Network support, Remote support to end users, Ticketing tool.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Installation and Configuration

Install new software applications, update existing software, and configure settings in alignment with company policies and user requirements.

System Security Maintenance

Apply security patches and updates to operating systems and applications to ensure system integrity and protection against vulnerabilities.

Technical Troubleshooting

Diagnose and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, network connectivity, hardware malfunctions, and software installations on end-user devices.

User Account Management

Create and manage user accounts, reset passwords, and configure access permissions in accordance with security protocols.

Remote Support Tools Proficiency

Proficient in using remote desktop tools such as TeamViewer, Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), and similar platforms to provide remote assistance.

End-User Support and Training

Provide clear technical guidance and support to users on basic computer operations, software usage, and troubleshooting procedures.

Remote Troubleshooting

Utilize remote access tools to diagnose and resolve technical issues directly on user machines.

Technical Expertise

Possess strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, standard business applications, networking protocols, and basic hardware diagnostics.

Issue Documentation and Tracking

Record user-reported issues in a ticketing system, monitor resolution progress, and update case statuses upon issue resolution.
