skilled Bookkeeper
based in India who can manage day-to-day accounting, maintain accurate financial records, and communicate professionally with our Canadian team and clients.
Responsibilities
Handle daily bookkeeping in
Zoho Books / QuickBooks Online / Xero
.
Record and categorize all financial transactions accurately.
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor statements.
Prepare monthly financial reports (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow).
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Respond promptly to emails and
answer phone calls during 8 AM - 5 PM Toronto time
.
Support the accounting team with month-end and year-end closings.
Requirements
Minimum
2 years of bookkeeping experience
(preferably with Canadian or international clients but not required).
Excellent
English communication skills (spoken and written)
-- must be comfortable handling calls.
Must be available
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Toronto time (EST/EDT)

Proficient in
Zoho Books, QuickBooks Online, or Xero
.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
Reliable internet connection and professional remote work setup.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with
Canadian bookkeeping or tax practices
.
Experience with tools like
Google Workspace, Slack, or Notion
.
Prior experience working remotely with international teams.
