Conduct diagnostic assessments to identify learning difficulties and developmental delays.
Design and implement individualized remedial education plans (IEPs) tailored to each child's needs.
Provide one-on-one and small group remedial sessions focusing on areas such as reading, writing, math, attention, and comprehension.
Use multisensory and evidence-based teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes.
Monitor and document each child's progress and adjust strategies as needed.
Collaborate with psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and teachers for holistic intervention.
Guide parents on home-based support and strategies to reinforce learning.
Maintain accurate case records and prepare periodic progress reports.
Participate in team meetings, workshops, and professional development programs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Education:
B.Ed. Special Education
Minimum 1-3 years of experience working with children in a clinical or school-based setting.
Strong understanding of child development, speech-language pathology, and learning disabilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathetic, patient, and child-friendly approach.
Good documentation and reporting abilities.
