We are looking for an experienced Release and Deployment Analyst to join our team in Pune. As the Release and Deployment Analyst, you will:

  • R& D Analyst will be owing end-to-end release management for assigned releases and ensure it is released into production by adhering to all release management processes. R& D Analyst will be authorized to accept or reject releases based on the status of artifacts completeness and will be a center point for communication amount all the stakeholder as the release progress.
  • Identify process gaps for improvement, including reducing dead time, cost of change, failure rates, etc.
  • Maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills. A background of leading and working side by side with engineers, architects, quality assurance, and operations teams is required for successful software products. Possess the wide range of leadership skills necessary to plan, organize, and deliver a wide range of products in an organized fashion.
  • Ensure the change management process is followed making ready for production deployment using the available tools and management and gaining change approvals. Proven track record of leadership accomplishments, Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills, Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced and challenging environment, and Excellent command of written and spoken English. Drive the end-to-end release process - for multiple planned releases, and unplanned hotfix releases in advance
  • Helps align release calendar to ensure overlaps are minimized to ensure rapid deployments with high quality. Assist the teams in establishing a consistent and predictable release cadence • Create an environment whereby the teams are informed and in agreement on delivery goals, complex dependencies, and exception processes
  • In partnership with multiple leaders, track and communicate to Stakeholders information such as release calendar, risks, and risk mitigation strategies, impediments, and status R&D Analysts must be able to step up and own process improvement initiatives and should not hesitate to push the boundaries to make it happen, should be able to work normally out of office hours occasionally as and when needed.
About you To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of IT industry experience with a strong bias to the delivery of quality solutions into production. Must be aware of the latest tools and methodologies used in the industry for release and deployment
  • Must have experience in SNOW or Similar Tools for raising change records and change management process. Strong Release Management skills gained across multiple architectures/technology stacks
  • Ability to understand complex system architecture, in particular as it impacts the management of multiple, competing environments
  • Nice to have code and configuration management (code branching, Automated releases, etc..)
  • Must be aware of Environment management as it will go hand to hand with release management. Must have experience in Infra as well as application releases. Nice to have experience in CI/CD Pipeline, AWS, Azure, Jenkins, SVN, MS Visio, and DevOps toolsets
  • Direct experience in either Applications or Infrastructure support is highly desirable Best practices for software delivery with good knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and ITIL framework with experience of the release process, preferably as a release engineer however a good background in software engineering or development will be considered Familiar with Agile and Scrum methodologies. Qualifications Required – Education and/or professional Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Business, or a related discipline.
