Job Summary:
The Engineer/Manager will be responsible for the design and
engineering of Microprocessor-based Bus Transfer Relay logic, ensuring the
development and implementation of efficient, reliable and innovative relay systems.
If having good team handling experience, this role may involve managing and
training a team of engineers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions and
driving innovation in system design and technical requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree/higher in Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Microprocessor based relay logic
developer/programmer.
Strong understanding of power system protection principles and relay operations.
Solid fundamentals in electrical and electronics engineering.
Expertise in relay logic programming and testing.
Knowledge in communication protocols such as IEC 61850, Modbus & DNP3
(will be an added advantage).
Familiarity with power system analysis tools like ETAP, PSCAD, MI Power or
SCADA (will be an added advantage).
Excellent technical problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Benefits:
Salary:
?30,000 - ?70,000 (Negotiable, based on skills/experience/industry
standards).
Probation Period:
6 -12 months.
