Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and target-oriented Relationship Officer - Gold Loan to drive sales and customer acquisition for our gold loan portfolio. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing new gold loan customers, handling gold loan takeovers from other institutions, and building long-term relationships to drive business growth. The role includes achieving assigned sales targets, ensuring high customer satisfaction, and maintaining process compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Source new customers for gold loans through field visits, cold calls, referrals, and tie-ups.Identify and approach customers who have existing gold loans with competitors and drive takeover of gold loans by offering better terms.
Conduct promotional activities and participate in loan melas, campaigns, and customer meets.Identify potential customers with existing gold loans in NBFCs/banks.Educate them on the benefits of transferring their loan (better rates, terms, service).Coordinate end-to-end takeover process including lien release, gold transfer logistics, documentation, and re-pledging.Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.Maintain regular contact with customers to ensure timely renewals and interest payments.Ensure gold appraisal is done accurately and securely with adherence to internal policies.Handle loan disbursal, documentation, and system entries efficiently.Ensure adherence to KYC, AML, and all regulatory norms.Coordinate with credit and operations team for timely processing of loans.Achieve monthly gold loan disbursement targets (including takeovers).Maintain accurate MIS reports of field visits, leads generated, conversions, and portfolio quality.Track overdue accounts and assist in collection follow-ups if required.

Qualifications:
Minimum: Graduate (any discipline)
Preferred: Candidates with prior experience in gold loan sales, NBFC sector
Experience: 1-3 years in a similar role (Gold Loan or Loan Takeover preferred).
Compensation:
Fixed Salary + Performance-Based Incentives
Travel allowance and mobile reimbursement (as applicable)
Additional Requirements:
Two-wheeler and valid driving license.
Local language proficiency is must Tamil and English.
