The Relationship Manager (RM) is responsible for building and managing strong customer relationships, driving insurance sales, and delivering excellent service. The role involves understanding customer needs, recommending suitable insurance solutions, managing partner relationships (if applicable), and achieving sales and service targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
Generate leads through partner channels, walk-ins, referrals, and existing customers.
Identify customer needs and present suitable life/health/general insurance products.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Conduct sales presentations, product explanations, and financial need analysis.
2. Customer Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with customers to ensure repeat and renewal business.
Provide information on policy features, premium payments, claims process, and service support.
Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely follow-ups.
3. Partner/Channel Management
(for Bancassurance/Corporate/Agency roles)
Coordinate with bank branch staff or channel partners to generate business.
Support partner teams with training on insurance products and processes.
Participate in joint field visits with partner employees.
