Role Purpose:The Relationship Manager - SME is responsible for acquiring, managing, and growing a portfolio of SME clients by offering banking and credit solutions, ensuring portfolio quality, and driving revenue through lending and cross-sell products.Key Responsibilities:Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:- Acquire new SME clients through market outreach, referrals, and branch leads- Manage and grow an assigned SME portfolio- Build long-term relationships with business owners and key decision-makersCredit & Lending:- Source SME loan proposals (Working Capital, Term Loans, LAP, etc.)- Conduct preliminary credit assessment and documentation- Coordinate with credit, operations, and risk teams for timely sanctions and disbursements- Handle renewals, enhancements, and reviewsPortfolio Management:- Monitor portfolio health, delinquencies, and early warning signals- Ensure timely renewals and compliance with bank policies- Maintain asset quality and reduce NPAsShruthi AcharyaSkillventory (ref:updazz.com)
