Job Description

The role is ideal for a motivated wealth professional with 4-8 years of experience in PMS or investment product sales who thrives on building deep client relationships, managing investments, and achieving measurable AUM growth. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for acquiring and servicing HNI/UHNI clients, driving portfolio inflows, and ensuring an exceptional client experience in alignment with the client-first philosophy.Key Responsibilities:Client Acquisition & AUM Growth- Acquire new HNI and UHNI clients for SMIFS' PMS offerings through direct prospecting, networking, and referrals.- Convert leads into active clients and grow assigned AUM consistently against quarterly and annual targets.- Engage with family offices, business owners, and CXO-level clients to pitch PMS investment solutions.- Leverage existing client relationships and develop new connections to expand the PMS customer base.Client Relationship Management-Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring trust-based, long-term relationships.- Conduct periodic reviews of client portfolios, explain performance metrics, and align portfolios with client goals.- Proactively communicate market insights, product updates, and investment opportunities.Ensure client satisfaction through responsive service and seamless onboarding processes.Product & Market Expertise- Maintain a deep understanding of PMS products, equity markets, and portfolio management strategies.- Stay updated on macroeconomic trends, sector performance, and competitor products.- Collaborate with the product and research teams to tailor investment strategies for client needs.Sales Reporting & Compliance- Maintain accurate client data, lead pipelines, and AUM reports on CRM platforms.- Ensure complete adherence to SEBI and company compliance policies during client acquisition and servicing.- Provide regular updates to management on business performance and client feedback.Qualifications & Experience Required:Education:Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Business, or related field.MBA/PGDM or NISM certification preferred.Experience:- 4-8 years of experience in PMS, AIF, or Wealth Management sales.- Demonstrated track record of acquiring and managing HNI/UHNI clients.- Exposure to portfolio advisory, investment sales, or private banking preferred.- Ability to contribute an independent and transferable AUM/book will be an advantage.Skills & Attributes Required :- Sales Orientation : Goal-driven with a strong focus on AUM growth and client acquisition.Relationship Management : Skilled at developing trust-based, long-term client relationships.- Product Knowledge : Sound understanding of PMS products and equity market dynamics.- Communication : Clear and confident communicator with excellent presentation skills.- Integrity : Strong ethical foundation and adherence to compliance norms.- Entrepreneurial Attitude : Self-starter who can operate independently and take ownership of outcomes.- Analytical Ability : Capability to interpret financial data and explain portfolio performance effectively.Location: BKC, Mumbai (ref:updazz.com)
