To acquire new customers and manage existing relationships for Mortgage / Loan Against Property (LAP) products, ensuring sustainable business growth, superior customer experience, and adherence to credit & compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities1. Business Acquisition
Source new customers for MLAP/LAP products through direct sales, channel partners, connectors, and referrals.
Identify potential borrowers such as SMEs, self-employed professionals, and salaried individuals.
Conduct market mapping and develop strategies to increase loan book.
2. Customer Relationship Management
Build strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure repeat business.
Understand customer financial requirements and recommend suitable mortgage/LAP solutions.
Provide end-to-end assistance, from lead generation to loan disbursement.
3. Credit Assessment & Documentation
Assess customer financials, income documents, banking, collateral details, and repayment capacity with preliminary credit screening.
Coordinate with credit team for approval and ensure accurate documentation.
Ensure property verification, legal checks, valuation, and compliance standards are met.
4. Portfolio Management
Monitor portfolio health and ensure timely EMI payments.
Identify early warning signals and assist in delinquency control.
Upsell and cross-sell relevant banking products (e.g., overdraft LAP, insurance, CASA).
5. Channel Partner Management
Develop and manage relationships with DSAs, connectors, builders, and brokers.
Train and motivate channel partners to increase business volumes.
Ensure adherence to onboarding norms and ethical sales practices.
6. Reporting & Compliance
Maintain accurate MIS on leads, conversions, approvals, and disbursements.
Ensure adherence to internal policies, RBI guidelines, and audit standards.
Update CRM systems regularly with customer interactions and pipeline status.
