Job Summary:
The Insurance Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets by promoting various insurance products (Life, Health, Term, General, etc). The role involves identifying potential customers, understanding their financial needs, and recommending suitable insurance plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospect & Acquire New Customers:
Identify potential clients through cold calls, referrals, leads, and networking.
Sales Target Achievement:
Meet or exceed assigned sales targets for premium income, new policies, and renewals.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build strong, long-term relationships with clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Product Promotion:
Present, promote, and sell insurance products (life, health, motor, etc.) that best meet customer needs.
Needs Analysis:
Assess clients' financial goals and suggest suitable insurance solutions.
Policy Servicing:
Assist customers in completing application forms, documentation, and premium payments.
Market Intelligence:
Keep track of competitors' activities, new product launches, and changing market trends.
Compliance & Ethics:
Ensure adherence to company policies, IRDAI guidelines, and ethical selling practices.
Renewals & Cross-Selling:
Follow up with existing clients for renewals and cross-sell additional insurance products.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate / Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
3-5 years in sales insurance sector

Ability to build rapport and trust
Basic understanding of insurance and financial concepts
