Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new customers for
health & general insurance
products (e.g., motor, travel, fire, personal accident).
Understand customer needs and suggest suitable policy plans.
Manage the end-to-end sales process - pitching, documentation, premium collection, and policy issuance.
Build strong relationships with individual clients, agents, and channel partners.
Ensure
cross-selling
and
up-selling
of relevant insurance products.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Maintain proper follow-up for
renewals
and
claim assistance
.
Stay updated on product features, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings.
Requirements:
Minimum
1 year
of experience in
insurance sales
(health/general/motor).
Knowledge of
IRDAI regulations
and insurance product structures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record in target-driven sales roles.
Ability to handle field work and meet customers on-site.
Graduation in any stream; IRDA Certification (preferred).
Preferred Qualities:
Experience in
insurance broking
or
TPA sales

Local market knowledge and database.
Tech-savvy (CRM, Excel, digital sales tools).
