Role Overview
The Relationship Lead (RL) plays a pivotal role in Packt's tech publishing ecosystem by driving both the acquisition of high-caliber authors and the execution of post-publication marketing strategies. As a dynamic link between subject matter experts, developer and IT professional and practitioner communities, and Packt's content goals, the RL is responsible for discovering influential voices in tech, nurturing long-term author relationships, and ensuring that each published title achieves visibility, engagement, and commercial success across all sales channels.
This is a strategic, outward-facing role that requires a blend of people skills, product sensibility, DevRel marketing acumen, and technology community-building mindset.
We value a track record in producing or guiding developer focused learning resources for web and mobile. Curiosity about application development and emerging AI powered practices is encouraged. You do not need to be a specialist, yet experience shaping effective learning resources and access to a strong expert network will set you up for success. This is NOT a sales role.
