Overview
The Relationship Lead (RL) plays a pivotal role in Packt's tech publishing ecosystem by driving both the acquisition of high-caliber authors and the execution of post-publication marketing strategies. As a dynamic link between subject matter experts, developer and IT professional and practitioner communities, and Packt's content goals, the RL is responsible for discovering influential voices in tech, nurturing long-term author relationships, and ensuring that each published title achieves visibility, engagement, and commercial success across all sales channels.
This is a strategic, outward-facing role that requires a blend of people skills, product sensibility, DevRel marketing acumen, and technology community-building mindset.
Experience working in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering, or related developer relations (DevRel) roles will be considered a strong plus, especially in contexts involving technologies like Kubernetes, containerization, or infrastructure automation. This is NOT a sales role.
