Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end reinsurance claims activities, including generation of claims closings
Receive and acknowledge claims requests within 24 hours, update status in internal systems
Coordinate with reinsurers and internal teams to complete claims requirements
Monitor claims throughout the lifecycle to ensure timely processing and compliance with quality and regulatory guidelines
Adhere to defined claims KPIs, including bi-monthly and monthly follow-ups with clients and sources
Ensure quality checks are completed prior to issuing debit notes, prioritizing interim payments and cash calls
Support internal coordination for resolution of claims, accounting, and client issues
Maintain accurate and complete claims documentation in shared repositories
Provide status updates and required information to management and placement teams
Perform additional claims or operational tasks as assigned Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of reinsurance claims processes
Excellent coordination and communication skills with internal teams, brokers, and clients
High attention to detail, documentation, and data accuracy
Ability to manage multiple claims and priorities while meeting turnaround times
Strong ownership mindset and accountability for service quality Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Finance, or related field
3 6 years of experience in reinsurance claims operations (facultative or treaty)
Experience working with claims systems and shared documentation platforms preferred
