Physiotherapist specializing in child rehabilitation and occupational therapy
to work with fine and gross motor ability to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in assessing and treating children with developmental delays, neurological conditions, physical disabilities, and motor coordination challenges. You will play a key role in enhancing children's mobility, functional independence, and quality of life through individualized and evidence-based physiotherapy programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive
physical and motor assessments
for children with developmental or neurological conditions.
Design and implement
individualized therapy plans
targeting gross and fine motor development.
Use specialized techniques such as
Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT)
,
Sensory Integration
, and
motor relearning strategies
.
Support children with
conditions such as cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorders, muscular dystrophy
, and post-surgical recovery.
Collaborate with
occupational therapists, speech therapists, special educators
, and caregivers to ensure holistic child development.
Monitor, document, and evaluate
therapy progress and outcomes
; adjust plans as needed.
Educate and guide
parents/caregivers
on home exercises and functional activities to support therapy goals.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and data for clinical and compliance purposes.
Participate in
case discussions, IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings
, and therapy reviews.
Conduct or assist in
group therapy sessions
for motor development, balance, posture, and coordination.
Qualifications and Experience:eh
(BPT/MPT), preferably with specialization in Pediatrics or Neurology.
Minimum of
2-3 years' experience
working with children in a clinical, hospital, or special school / Child development centre
Certification or training in
paediatric motor therapy techniques
is highly desirable.

Excellent knowledge of

Skilled in
movement analysis, positioning, mobility aids

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families
Patient, empathetic, and passionate about working with children with special needs
