We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

Regression Tester

to join our QA team in Chennai. The candidate should have hands-on knowledge of regression testing processes and a basic understanding of automation using

Selenium

.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform

regression testing

to ensure system stability after new enhancements, bug fixes, or updates. Design, execute, and maintain regression test cases. Identify, log, and track software defects using standard tools. Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to ensure product quality. Contribute to automation test scripts using

Selenium

where applicable.

Required Skills:

Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and

regression testing

methodologies. Basic hands-on experience with

Selenium WebDriver

for test automation. Knowledge of manual and automation testing tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Familiarity with tools like JIRA, TestLink, or similar QA platforms. Willingness to learn automation frameworks and advanced QA practices.
