Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Registrar in General Surgery to join our surgical team. The Registrar will assist in surgical procedures, manage pre- and post-operative patient care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality treatment outcomes. Key Responsibilities

Assist consultants and senior surgeons in general surgery procedures, ensuring optimal patient care throughout. Manage pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient assessments, diagnosis, and follow-up treatment plans. Participate in daily rounds and maintain thorough medical records. Liaise with consultants, nursing staff, and allied healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Provide emergency surgical support, triage, and manage trauma cases in the department. Ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols. Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous education programs.

Requirements

Educational Qualification

: MBBS with a postgraduate qualification in General Surgery (MS/DNB).

Experience

: Minimum of [0-3] years of relevant experience in a hospital setting. Strong knowledge of surgical techniques, procedures, and patient management. Excellent clinical skills with a focus on precision and patient safety. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage emergency cases. Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.
