Job Overview
We are seeking a Junior Registered Pharmacist for a full-time position. The successful candidate will work closely with patients and healthcare professionals to ensure effective pharmacy operations. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience with prescription verification to ensure accuracy and completeness before dispensing (Mandatory skill).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy standards and procedures (Mandatory skill).
  • Proficiency in managing a medical store, maintaining inventory, and solving discrepancies (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong ability in patient counseling, offering them clear guidance and instructions for medication usage.
  • Experience in maintaining regulatory compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations.
  • Skills in inventory control to efficiently manage stock levels and ordering processes.
  • Ability to perform pharmaceutical calculations accurately to ensure appropriate dispensing of medications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with patients and healthcare providers.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and safe dispensing of prescription medications to patients.
  • Verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness of medication, and potential drug interactions.
  • Educate patients about their medications, including proper administration and side effects.
  • Maintain precise records of all prescriptions dispensed, adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to determine optimal patient medication plans.
  • Oversee the pharmacy inventory process, ensuring medications are in stock and expired products are removed.
  • Stay informed on new pharmaceutical developments and incorporate this knowledge into practice.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment and cooperate with team members to achieve departmental goals.
