Job Summary:

Experienced Nurse only

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, conducting assessments, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Assessment:

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status, including physical exams and medical history reviews.

Care Planning:

Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and preferences.

Medication Administration:

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Monitoring:

Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition, recognizing any changes and responding appropriately.

Patient Education:

Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

Collaboration:

Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

Emergency Response:

Respond effectively to medical emergencies, providing life-saving interventions as needed.

Advocacy:

Advocate for patients' rights and well-being within the healthcare system.
Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program.

Licensure:

Current RN license in the state of practice.

Experience:

Clinical experience preferred, especially in a relevant specialty.

Skills:

Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills; ability to work effectively in a team.
Work Environment:

RNs can work in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and community health organizations. The role may involve shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move patients. Standing or walking for extended periods. Capacity to respond to patient needs quickly and effectively.
