The Regional Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing operations across the region at a comprehensive level. He/She will develop, refine, and implement the operations strategy, including developing a detailed log frame/dashboard, actively participating in program strategy, and guiding the team towards a strong performance-oriented approach. He/She will be responsible for managing the overall quality and efficiency of operations, ensuring that the organization remains aligned with its vision and mission.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Implementation
Assist in preparing simple dashboards or progress trackers for district-level activities, including timelines, milestones, and indicators.
Support the team in implementing strategies and turning plans into actionable tasks.
People Management
Collaborate with team members at the regional or project level; participate in team meetings to plan work and discuss progress.
Assist in tracking team performance and support in periodic reviews or assessments.
Support HR initiatives like recruitment, development, and team engagement activities.
Operations Support
Assist functional teams (Program, Finance, Communication) in daily operations.
Liaison & Stakeholder Support
Assist in building relationships with government bodies and external stakeholders at the state, district, and block levels.
Help track progress, follow up on updates, and contribute to improving stakeholder relationships.
Support the monitoring of targets and the quality of project delivery.
Help ensure adherence to organisational policies and procedures.
Financial Support
Support the finance team in preparing district-wise budgets and tracking fund usage.
Assist in requesting funds and monitoring their usage in line with organizational procedures.
Help in resolving basic finance-related queries with guidance from senior staff.
Contribute to maintaining a positive organisational culture and relationships with staff, beneficiaries, and partners.
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Qualification
: Graduate/Postgraduate in Rural Development, Social Work, Agriculture, or related fields.
Experience
: Fresher candidates can apply. Internship, academic projects, or volunteer work in rural/community development is a plus.
Skills:
Basic understanding of rural development concepts, willingness to learn program management, and teamwork.
Additional Knowledge
: Awareness of government rural development schemes is desirable but not mandatory.
Key Competencies
Basic understanding of project management and analytical thinking.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with MS Office; eagerness to learn data analysis tools, including Excel and Google Sheets.
Ability to work in a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
