Role:
Regional Security Manager APAC
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Regional Security Manager to oversee and deliver physical security operations across our Asia-Pacific sites. This role ensures the safety of our employees, protection of assets, and compliance with global and local standards. Acting as the security lead across the region, the successful candidate will manage vendor performance, support business operations, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure a secure and resilient environment for our people and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and support day-to-day security operations across all APAC offices.
Manage regional manned guarding contracts, including staffing, training, and performance oversight.
Ensure the protection of personnel, property, and company assets through effective security measures.
Conduct site risk assessments, implement mitigation strategies, and advise on physical security improvements.
Provide health and safety support in collaboration with Facilities and HR.
Act as the APAC lead for incident management and crisis response.
Deliver security training and awareness for site leads and key stakeholders.
Oversee physical security projects including office relocations, new fit-outs, and technology upgrades.
Maintain and manage technical security infrastructure (CCTV, access control, alarms) across sites.
Support event security and executive protection planning as needed.
Ensure appropriate governance, oversight, and compliance with company standards and regional laws.
Build and maintain strong relationships with law enforcement, landlords, and key vendors.
Collaborate with global security and senior management to monitor and address emerging risks.
Drive continuous improvement in security practices and contribute to global programme development.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
7+ years' experience in corporate security, facilities risk management, or law enforcement, preferably with regional responsibilities.
Proven experience overseeing physical security operations in multiple APAC countries.
Strong vendor and contractor management experience.
Solid understanding of physical and technical security systems.
Familiarity with emergency response, crisis management, and duty of care obligations.
Experience liaising with law enforcement and external security providers.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage across cultures and functions.
Fluent English required (Oral & Written); other regional languages advantageous.
Ability to travel regionally as required (~20-30%).
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Experience working with or administering Genetec Security Systems (Access Control, VMS, and integrations).
Established network within local or regional law enforcement and relevant government or regulatory bodies.
Working knowledge of security risk assessments and compliance requirements across APAC jurisdictions.
Required Education
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Computer
Science/Information Technology, Science & Technology or equivalent.
