Regional Sales Manager-South - General Trade - FMCG/Beauty/Personal Care - 5+ Years - Bangalore
We are seeking a high-performing Regional Sales Manager with 5+ years of experience in the FMCG sector, including a minimum of 4 years as an Area Sales Manager or Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate is currently functioning as an RSM, with proven expertise in handling General Trade channels. Experience in managing multiple or at least one state, particularly Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Kerala or other South India regions. Strong team leadership, strategic thinking, and a track record of delivering regional business growth are key to succeeding in this role.

Responsibilities: * Driving regional retail sales and achieving profitability goals

• Leading and mentoring Area Sales Managers and front-line teams
• Coordinating with Marketing for brand initiatives and sales campaigns
• Building strong relationships with Modern Trade and General Trade retailers
• Ensuring scheme implementation and market hygiene
• Aligning with C&F agents and cross-functional teams for smooth execution
• Identifying new market opportunities and tracking competitor moves

Requirements: * MBA from a reputed B-school with 5+ years of experience

• Minimum 4 years in ASM/BDM role and preferred is someone, currently at RSM Designation; exposure to MT/E-Com/Trade Marketing is a plus
• Strong analytical mindset, negotiation, and retailer relationship skills
• Proficient in MS Office and data interpretation
