We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven

Regional Sales Manager

to lead and grow our sales presence in

South India

. The ideal candidate will manage a regional sales team of approximately 10-12 members, drive new customer acquisition, ensure the success and retention of existing clients, and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to minimize churn. The role requires achieving regional KPIs and expanding market share while collaborating closely with senior leadership.

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with YCS's business objectives. Lead, mentor, and manage a regional sales team to achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs. Drive new customer acquisition and ensure successful adoption and retention of existing clients. Maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and minimizing churn. Collaborate with senior leadership to set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and implement training programs to enhance team performance. Analyse regional market trends, identify growth opportunities, and propose new products, services, or sales approaches. Prepare and manage the regional budget, optimize resources, and recommend process improvements. Represent YCS at trade shows, conferences, and industry events as needed.

Key Skills Needed

Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and lead a regional sales team effectively. Strong experience in sales forecasting, KPI management, and customer base expansion. Hands-on experience with CRM software and tracking sales performance metrics. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven decision-making mindset. Willingness to travel across the South India region as required.

Requirements

Minimum 6-7 years of experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager, or equivalent sales leadership role. Bachelor's degree in any related discipline; MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a regional or multi-location setup. Experience managing teams of 10-15 members, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management. Strong knowledge of sales processes, forecasting, pipeline management, and KPI-driven performance. Ability to analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to make informed decisions. Familiarity with CRM tools and sales performance dashboards. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all organizational levels.
