. The RSM will be responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and growth objectives through effective leadership, strategic planning, and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Drive and achieve regional sales targets, ensuring profitability and sustained growth.
Lead, mentor, and motivate Area Sales Managers and Medical Representatives to achieve high performance.
Develop and execute regional sales strategies in alignment with zonal and national objectives.
Strengthen market presence across Tamil Nadu by identifying new business opportunities and expanding distribution networks.
Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, pharmacists, distributors, and key stakeholders.
Collaborate with marketing and product management teams for brand-building activities, CMEs, and promotional initiatives.
Provide regular feedback on market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights.
Oversee implementation of sales processes, ensure compliance, and support continuous team development.
Prepare sales reports, monitor performance metrics, and support decision-making through data-driven insights.
Candidate Profile
Education:
Graduate in Pharmacy or Life Sciences (mandatory); MBA preferred.
Experience:
7-10 years in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role (ASM/RSM level).
Track Record:
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver consistent regional growth.
Skills Required
Deep understanding of the Indian pharmaceutical market, especially in Tamil Nadu.
Strong skills in sales planning, forecasting, and territory management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
