The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and leading the sales team within an assigned region. This role focuses on achieving revenue targets, expanding market presence, building strong customer relationships, and executing company sales strategies at the regional level.
Key Responsibilities
? Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets
? Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and regional goals
? Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the region
? Manage relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners
? Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback
? Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management
? Ensure effective implementation of pricing, promotions, and sales campaigns
? Conduct regular field visits and sales reviews with team members
? Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to align strategies
? Ensure compliance with company policies and sales processes
Required Qualifications
? Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
? 10+ years of experience in sales, with at least [X] years in a leadership or regional role
? Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
