Designation: Regional Sales Manager (Mumbai, Maharashtra and Goa)
CTC: ?10,00,000 - ?12,00,000 per annum (Final offer will depend on current CTC, experience, regional exposure, and proven sales performance)
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Achieve regional sales targets for ride-on and truck-mounted road sweepers
Identify and develop new markets including: Municipal Corporations, Smart City projects, Industrial zones, SEZs, ports, airports, EPC & infrastructure contractors
Generate leads through direct sales, dealers, and institutional clients
Client Relationship Management
Conduct product presentations, demos, and technical discussions
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules
Ensure customer satisfaction through coordination with after-sales & service teams
Handle escalations and ensure long-term account retention
Market Intelligence & Strategy
Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and new product launches
Provide inputs for: Product improvements, Custom-built machines as per client requirements
Recommend regional marketing initiatives, exhibitions, and roadshows
Internal Coordination
Work closely with: Production & planning teams for delivery timelines, Service team for commissioning & AMC support, Finance team for collections and credit control
Prepare periodic MIS reports on: Sales pipeline, Order status, Collections and forecasts
Desired Candidate Profile
Education: Graduate / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
MBA in Sales / Marketing (preferred, not mandatory)
Experience
8-10 years of experience in B2B or capital equipment sales
Minimum 3-5 years in a regional / senior sales role
Prior experience in: Municipal equipment, Construction equipment, Industrial vehicles or heavy engineering products
Technical & Commercial Skills
Strong understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and truck-mounted systems
Ability to explain technical features to non-technical buyers
Commercial negotiation and contract closure expertise

Ability to travel extensively within the region (Mumbai, Maharashtra and Goa)
High integrity and professionalism (important for government sales)
