Job Description

Kaatil is a brand of Indianised hot condiments made using Indian chillies only across multiple product categories. Across the last three years, we've built a strong offline presence in Mumbai along with nationwide reach through D2C and e-commerce.

As we expand into new offline markets across India, we are looking for an experienced

Regional Sales Manager

to lead market development, scale distribution, and build a high-performance sales organisation.

Key Responsibilities:



Conceptualize and execute a sales strategy in target key markets to establish a dominant presence in the category. Create, build, and maintain strategic partnerships with wholesalers, retailers, and distributors to grow Kaatil's portfolio nationally Monitor monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts and budgets to achieve established goals and to deliver profitable growth nationally. Develop, implement, and refine sales strategies to drive business growth and market expansion Lead distributor appointments, onboarding, performance management, SOP implementation, and margin/scheme negotiations Work with internal departments to implement agreements, increase revenue, and address customer needs by working closely with senior management Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales and promoter teams to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets Set performance standards, design incentive programs, and implement training sessions to enhance team capabilities Collaborate with marketing teams to align promotional campaigns and enhance brand visibility Develop and execute trade schemes, festival programs, and promotional calendars with key partners Ensure timely collections and payments from retailers and distributors Monitor schemes with distributors and in retail channels Analyze sales data, create dashboards/reports, and share insights for business improvement Track competitor pricing, new launches, schemes, and retail behaviour Benchmark best practices and recommend improvements across distribution, merchandising, and demand planning

Qualifications & Experience:



4+ years of experience in offline FMCG sales across A+ Stores, Modern Trade, and General Trade Proven track record in distributor management, category growth, market expansion, and negotiations Strong analytical ability; comfortable working with dashboards, targets, and forecasting tools Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills Target-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced growth-stage environment Willingness to travel extensively across India Strong interpersonal skills, networking ability and ability to collaborate well internally and externally Target-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
