We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Regional Sales Manager to oversee sales operations in the Ernakulam area. The role involves managing distributors, ensuring timely collections, promoting sales across all retail outlets, and coordinating daily with the sales team to achieve business targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and develop distributor relationships to ensure effective market coverage.
Ensure timely collection of payments from distributors and retailers.
Promoting products across all shops in the allocated territory.
Plan and execute daily market visits as per the allocated beat plan.
Monitor and guide Sales Officers to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Track sales performance, analyze gaps, and implement corrective actions.
Ensure visibility and availability of products across the region.
Coordinate with marketing and operations teams for smooth execution of trade promotions.
Submit regular reports on sales, collections, and market feedback to management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in FMCG/Consumer Goods sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Strong distributor and retail network management skills.
Proven track record in achieving sales and collection targets.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work in a target-driven and field-intensive environment.
Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
