Role and Responsibility of Regional Sales Manager - Tamil Nadu
Role -
A Regional sales Manager is overall responsible for overseeing sales operation, revenue generation & customer satisfaction of Tamil Nadu region
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Revenue Generation
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
Identify new market opportunities and customer segments to expand the business.
Monitor sales trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adapt strategies accordingly.
Team Leadership and Development
Assign the work to the team; Follow up with the team for reports; Training the team for marketing and better approach with the customers
Set clear performance goals and provide regular feedback to ensure team alignment with organizational objectives.
Conduct periodic performance reviews and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Customer Management
Build and maintain relationships with key clients and corporates of your region to ensure customer satisfaction.
Plan weekly marketing field visit along with stock from krishnagiri to Coimbatore
Attend customer meetings regularly; Follow up after the meeting for orders
Support and guide sales team for customer interaction
Participating in trade fairs and events
Keeping customer informed about the discrepancies in terms of quality price service product; Keeping customers informed about new products, events and exhibition
Reconciling the customer account of your region periodically
Market Analysis and Reporting
Analyse sales data, customer preferences, and buying trends to provide insights for product development.
Prepare and send field visit report after every marketing trip
Prepare and present regular sales performance reports to senior management.
- Send weekly report to reporting officers (Rate fix report, Debtors Ageing, Stock requirement, pending deliveries customer wise)
-Send consolidated Monthly report with CC to Managing Director as per the format, including Key points
Forecast regional sales and develop budgets accordingly.
Operational Oversight
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical business practices.
Handle customer escalations and ensure timely resolution.
Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams
Work closely with the marketing, product design, and production teams to align sales strategies with market demands.
Provide feedback to product development teams about customer preferences and emerging trends.
Collaborate with finance teams on pricing strategies and credit management.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹17,847.17 - ₹62,386.80 per month
Work Location: In person
