Regional Sales Manager (RSM)

is responsible for overseeing the sales operations within a specific geographic region. Their primary goal is to drive sales growth, manage a team of sales representatives, and develop strategies to increase market share. Below are the key

roles and responsibilities

of an RSM:

1. Sales Strategy & Target Achievement



Develop and implement regional sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets. Set sales goals and objectives for the region and ensure alignment with company goals. Monitor sales performance and analyze trends to identify growth opportunities.

2. Team Management & Leadership



Recruit, train, and mentor sales representatives and other sales team members. Motivate and guide the sales team to enhance performance and achieve targets. Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to improve team efficiency.

3. Market Analysis & Business Development



Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitor strategies, and emerging trends. Expand the company's presence within the region by identifying new business opportunities. Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, distributors, and business partners.

4. Customer Relationship Management



Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and providing solutions. Work with the sales team to maintain long-term relationships with clients. Gather customer feedback to improve products and services.

5. Sales Operations & Reporting



Track and analyze sales data to measure performance and make data-driven decisions. Prepare regular reports on regional sales performance for senior management. Manage budgets and forecast sales revenue for the region.

6. Coordination with Other Departments



Work closely with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to align sales efforts. Ensure smooth communication between sales teams and internal stakeholders. Collaborate with finance teams on pricing strategies and revenue planning.

7. Compliance & Policy Adherence



Ensure the sales team follows company policies, legal guidelines, and ethical sales practices. Monitor adherence to industry regulations and compliance standards. Address any issues related to contracts, negotiations, or policy violations.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month

Experience:

Field sales: 5 years (Preferred) FMCG: 5 years (Preferred)
Willingness to travel:

100% (Preferred)
