Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
Regional Sales Manager (RSM)
to lead our ethical sales operations in the assigned region. The RSM will be responsible for
driving prescription sales
of the Phy product range through medical representatives, building strong relationships with doctors, specialists, and distributors, and ensuring ethical promotion in compliance with all regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruit, train, and manage a team of
Product Specialists (PSs)
across the region.
Monitor performance, set clear targets, and provide regular coaching and feedback.
Ensure PSs are well-trained in
product science, medical communication, and ethical promotion
Achieve regional sales targets for the
Phy product portfolio
through ethical prescription generation.
Plan and implement effective
territory coverage strategies
.
Conduct regular joint field visits with PSs to ensure quality interactions with HCPs (Healthcare Professionals)
Drive scientific product discussions with physicians, endocrinologists, gynecologists, psychiatrists, and other specialists.
Ensure
ethical, evidence-based communication
of Phy products.
Organize and oversee CMEs, roundtable discussions, and medical events to build brand awareness among HCPs
Identify growth opportunities within the region and develop strategies to maximize market penetration.
Coordinate with distributors, stockists, and channel partners to ensure smooth product availability.
Analyze regional sales data, competitor activity, and market trends to refine sales strategies.
Ensure all promotional activities adhere to
Drugs & Magic Remedies Act
, MCI guidelines, and company's ethical policies.
Promote
scientific integrity and transparency
in all communications.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
B.Pharm / B.Sc / BMS / Graduate in Life Sciences or related field
2-4 years of experience in pharmaceutical or nutraceutical sales
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
High integrity with commitment to
ethical sales practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Field-readiness, ownership, and growth mindset
Comfort with using basic reporting tools (Excel/CRM apps)
